Stock up on end-of-year resources and bag a bargain!

As the end of the financial year approaches, if you do have any available budget, now’s a good time to stock up for the year, and especially for Child Safety Week on 18 – 24 June 2012.

And, if you’re quick off the mark, you can bag a bargain too:

• We’ve reduced the price of our Fancy a cuppa? DVD pack – now just £19.80, down from £36, a saving of 45%. This resource pack contains everything you need to run a lively discussion session with parents and carers: a nine-minute DVD; support cards with facts and figures, discussion topics and suggestions for simple demonstrations; a Hot drinks can hurt me poster; and 50 copies of our Keep hot drinks out of my reach flyer. • From 1 April 2012, due to a 10% increase in the price of paper, we will be forced to slightly increase the prices of our resources.

It comprises a 15 minute DVD film covering falls from windows, down stairs and from highchairs, support cards to brief you and guide discussions, and 50 flyers. Perfect for engaging parents and raising awareness of the risks of head injuries.
• A new pictorial book Now I’m getting bigger, I can... : for parents of 3-5 years olds, especially vulnerable parents with poor literacy, whose children are at greatest risk of death and serious injury. The latest in our acclaimed Picture of Safety series.
