Sadly, bath seats have been in use in a number of cases where babies have drowned. It’s possible to be lulled into a false sense of security that your baby is safe in a bath seat. But this is far from the truth.
Bath seats are helpful but they’re NOT designed as a safety device, even though it can seem like this with some product advertising and pictures.
