As a small charity, we are always grateful for help from individuals. If you have read and benefited from our safety advice or feel passionate about keeping children safe please consider making a donation to fund our future work.

If your company wants to work with a charity focussed on children and communities and with direct access to hundreds of thousands of children, parents and professionals, find out more about corporate partnerships.

Make a donation

Please donate whatever you feel you can give. Every penny makes a huge difference.

There are plenty of ways that individuals can help us including legacy gifts, in memoriam giving, share donations, and using CAF vouchers. Please get in touch and we can talk you through the options.

Get your employer involved:

Payroll giving

If you would like to set up a monthly donation, your employer can help you donate a small amount on a regular basis. The money will be deducted from your wages before you pay any tax, meaning you could get up to 50% tax relief on your donation.

Employee fundraising events

Donating to CAPT can be fantastic fun – get creative, have fun with your colleagues, and support our vital work at the same time. Dress-down days, fun runs, raffles, head/leg/chest shaves, you can raise money doing anything that’s safe and legal!

We’d love to hear your fundraising ideas, and we can give you advice on how to get your company involved too. Many companies support staff charity events by offering to match the money raised.

Charity partners and Charity of the Year

Some companies choose a ‘Charity of the Year’ who they support financially and via volunteering.
If you’d like more info on getting your employer involved, contact safe@capt.org.uk, who’ll talk you through the options.

Volunteer with us

Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills. Whether you’re a recent graduate looking to boost your CV, or a skilled professional looking to give something back, we’d love to hear from you.  We need volunteers either to:

  • give a small amount of time regularly
  • help out for a short period with a specific project, or during Child Safety Week.

Get in touch and let us know what your skills are, or what skills you’d like to develop. We’ll find a good fit for you within our friendly team!
